The Stages that I am in for Suicide Racers is the completion of the game. It has been a long ten weeks but the game is finally finished. I had a lot of great accomplishments in this game such as the GUI textures, Particle System, the third person camera, and how the race tracks were designed. Another accomplishment of the game is that I had proper documentation for the game as well. There where some highs and lows from this project but most importantly I have learned a lot and experience is the most valuable thing that anybody could and will learn with every project and game that they will ever work on.
There are no milestones that have been change as the game is due by the end of class.
This week was a little difficult again just trying to refine and tweak the game before the game being due. Especailly, that this week being Finals Week, it was a nice little challenge to get things completed.
What is working for the game is that it now feels a little more like a racing game. A lot was accmplished in these ten weeks and it was a nice little challenege for my first attempt at a 3D racing game.
What really wasn't working was the car model. The car model just didn't go as accordingly to plan. It was just a little too blocky and really just in general didn't like how the car turned out to be. You could tell that it was a car but it just didn't work to my advantage.
